International Babywearing Week '09 celebration is launched in Malaysia!

International Babywearing Week 2009 (21-28 Sept 2009) celebration is finally launched here in Malaysia and Malaysian Babywearers is glad to have the official launching at the Little Penang Street Market on the 27th Sept 2009. Did I mention we are celebrating it for a month in Malaysia?

Along with the MBW info booth and carrier library to try on, there was also a charity sales booth where we sold off many items that were donated to us for a mere RM2 each. The remains of the charity sales has been donated to the Salvation Army of Penang.

Activities for the day included a lucky draw for RM2, mini games for people to stop by and play for a minute (Spot the difference) or five (Word Search). We even had Mac volunteered to have a Photoshoot session with people dropping by for a mere RM5. Pro at work!

We even had a babywearing show and a sharing session with Debra Lee on her babywearing journey wearing 22-months old Jack but sadly, we were all involved and no one had pictures of those... hope those of you who managed to catch them can send some to us ;) This time round, our little ones participated in the show wearing their dolls/teddy, too :D
